Nejc Mavsar finished 500m sprint in qualifying

Today it was a 500m sprinter day on the World Championship and Nejc Mavsar was our only contender. He finished 5th in Heat 7 and with 45,217 s was out of qualifying times and places for further competition. 2nd place (which still qualified for semi-finals) was less than 0.3 second away and was taken by Indian Dhanush Babu. Miha Remic and Nejc Mavsar finished in qualifying on first day

Today first track races took place. We only had one competitor Miha Remic on 10km Elimination, but both Miha and Nejc Mavsar tested the track on 1000m sprint. Miha finished 8th in his 1000m sprint heat, while Nejc Mavsar finished 6th, but his time was not fast enough to qualify. Only winners of the group and best 8 times qualified for semi-finals. Miha finished 10km elimination 24th in his heat, just 6 places before qualifying. (more...)

Nejc, Miha and Ana are representing us on World championship in Heerde

We will again send 3 competitors to World Inline speed skating Championship instead of official federation. Nejc Mavsar (RK Kranj) will represent us on track and road sprint distances, Miha Remic (RK Kranj) at points and elimination races on track and road and on marathon, while Ana Odlazek (RK Ljubljana), who was 2nd in last year World Cup will represent us in marathon distance next Sunday.
Official Slovenian federation still has no competitors registered to race in any events, but we are still unable to obtain official recognition from either Slovenian Olympic Committee or World Skate federation. (more...)

2017 Summer Universiade Taipei with Slovenian participation

Our members Miha Remic (RK Kranj) and Tadeja Donko (RK Ljubljana) are representing us on current Summer Universiade in Taipei. Racing starts tomorrow morning local time with sprints and continues through whole week. Both will try to achieve good results against some of the best skaters in the world including current World Cup leader Katharina Rumpus from Germany. (more...)
